राष्ट्रियता, सम्पत्ति छानबिन आयोग, मानवअधिकार प्रतिवेदन र सीमा समस्याका विषयमा सरकारको ध्यानाकर्षण गराइए पनि सुनुवाइ नभएको विपक्षी सांसदहरूको गुनासो
काठमाडौं । प्रतिनिधिसभाको बिहीबारको बैठकमा विपक्षी दलका सांसदहरूले आफूहरूले बारम्बार उठाउँदै आएका विषयमा सरकारबाट पर्याप्त सुनुवाइ नभएको भन्दै असन्तुष्टि व्यक्त गरेका छन्। बैठकका क्रममा विपक्षी सांसदहरूले विरोध जनाएपछि सभामुख डोलप्रसाद अर्याल ले धारणा राख्न समय उपलब्ध गराएका थिए। उक्त अवसरमा सांसद नरेन्द्रकुमार केरुङ ले प्रधानमन्त्रीले संसद्मा उठाएको राष्ट्रियताको विषय, सम्पत्ति छानबिनसम्बन्धी आयोगको प्रतिवेदन तथा मानवअधिकारसम्बन्धी प्रतिवेदन कार्यान्वयनजस्ता विषयमा पटकपटक ध्यानाकर्षण गराइए पनि प्रभावकारी सुनुवाइ नभएको गुनासो गरे। त्यस्तै सांसद लक्ष्मीप्रसाद पोखरेल ले अतिक्रमित नेपाली भूमि फिर्ता ल्याउन कूटनीतिक पहललाई तीव्र बनाउनुपर्ने आवश्यकता औँल्याए। उनले प्रधानमन्त्रीले जेठ १७ गते दिएको अभिव्यक्तिप्रति पनि आपत्ति जनाउँदै उक्त भनाइ फिर्ता लिनुपर्ने धारणा राखे। सांसद रमेशकुमार मल्ल ले प्रतिपक्षले उठाएका प्रश्नको उचित सम्बोधन हुन नसकेको भन्दै दुःख व्यक्त गरे। उनले प्रधानमन्त्रीको अभिव्यक्तिलाई संसद्को अभिलेखबाट हटाउनुपर्ने माग गर्दै लोकतन्त्र र संवैधानिक व्यवस्थाको संरक्षणमा सबै पक्ष सचेत हुनुपर्ने बताए। यस्तै सांसद ऐन महर ले संसद्को गरिमा कायम राख्नु सरकार र सांसद दुवैको साझा जिम्मेवारी भएको उल्लेख गरे। सांसद हर्कराज राई ले भुटानी शरणार्थी समुदायका माग र समस्याको उचित सम्बोधन गर्न सरकारसँग आग्रह गरेका छन्। प्रतिनिधिसभामा उठेका यी विषयले सरकार र प्रतिपक्षबीचको संवाद, संसद्को भूमिका तथा जनसरोकारका मुद्दामा प्रभावकारी सुनुवाइको आवश्यकता पुनः चर्चामा ल्याएको छ।
Opposition MPs say concerns regarding nationalism, property investigation reports, and human rights issues have not received adequate attention from the government.
Kathmandu — During Thursday's meeting of the House of Representatives, opposition lawmakers expressed dissatisfaction, stating that the government has not adequately responded to issues they have repeatedly raised.
After opposition members protested during the session, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal provided time for lawmakers to present their views.
On the occasion, MP Narendra Kumar Kerung stated that repeated concerns regarding the issue of nationalism raised by the Prime Minister in Parliament, the report of the Property Investigation Commission, and the implementation of human rights reports have not received effective attention from the government.
Similarly, MP Laxmi Prasad Pokharel emphasized the need to intensify diplomatic efforts to reclaim encroached Nepali territory. He also objected to a statement made by the Prime Minister on Jestha 17 and argued that the remark should be withdrawn.
MP Ramesh Kumar Malla expressed concern that questions raised by the opposition have not been properly addressed. He demanded that the Prime Minister's statement be removed from the parliamentary record and stressed the need for all sides to remain vigilant in protecting democracy and the constitutional system.
Likewise, MP Ain Mahar stated that maintaining the dignity of Parliament is a shared responsibility of both the government and lawmakers.
MP Harkaraj Rai urged the government to properly address the demands and concerns of the Bhutanese refugee community.
